Each project is a little different and varies in terms of what is required. We’ll prepare a custom proposal for your project outlining exactly what is included. Depending on the scope of the project, this can include any and all of the items below.

Our Process

Once you’ve submitted your inquiry form and completed a complimentary Discovery call, every project begins with a 2-hour consultation. We get to know you, your project, and your goals, while also providing ideas and clear next steps.

1 - Inquiry & Consultation

Once you’re on board, we’ll get to know you—how you live, your favourite colours, and even the way you make your morning coffee. We’ll review your inspiration images to understand your style and goals. Our team will visit the site to measure and document the space or begin coordinating with your architect.

2 - Getting To Know You | Project Kick Off

Every great design starts with a strong floor plan. Whether we’re planning furniture or an entire renovation or new build, we’ll begin with a layout that supports your lifestyle and flow. We pair the plan with images, sketches, or 3D models to communicate design concepts clearly. This initial presentation ensures we’re perfectly aligned from the start.

3 - Floor Plan Development | Design Concepts

With the floor plan finalized and the vision in place, we’ll dive into the details. Depending on the scope, this may include custom millwork elevations, finish and fixture selections, hardware, and furniture. We’ll present everything along with initial budget estimates.

4 - Design Development | Initial Budget

Once the selections and designs are approved, we refine the interior drawing set and specification documents for construction. This detailed package is then sent to contractors for bidding, ensuring the most accurate quotes.

5 - Construction Documentation | Bidding

We prepare and finalize the purchase orders and purchase the approved goods.  Depending on the scope of the project, this could include tiles, plumbing fixtures, hardware, furniture, rugs, etc.

6 - Procurement

We attend regularly scheduled site meetings with clients, trades, and suppliers to ensure the project is moving along smoothly, on time and on budget.  We provide ongoing updates and ensure any deficiencies are promptly addressed.

7 - Construction | Project Management

All furniture and goods are delivered and expertly installed, culminating in the reveal of your dream space. Depending on the project, we’ll also style shelves, hang art, and add finishing touches so your home feels complete and uniquely yours.
